First glimpse of new Taking Back Sunday material

November 18, 2010 Leave a comment

Tentatively titled ‘ Best Places to Be A Mom’, after teaser clips and tantalizing sound bites,Long Island’s Taking Back Sunday have just released the first full length track to debut on their fifth studio offering.

After the reformation of the ‘Tell All Your Friends’ line up, the quintet returned to the stage last summer for the first time in seven years, and are now locked away in the studio recording their much anticipated Spring 2011 release.

The track shows a return to the fold of their debut, ‘Tell All Your Friends’, with influence of the solo careers that lead guitarist John Nolan and bassist Shaun Cooper paved for themselves in the form of Straylight Run, showing it’s presence.
